Space Command help
Space Command is a macOS menu bar app and sidebar for people who work in Markdown and plain text. It reads the folders you choose and finds the projects, tasks, ideas, and posts in them. Nothing in your files changes without your say.
Getting started
- Setting up Space Command: choosing folders, editors, a hotkey, and your first focus.
Using the app
- Tasks and ideas: the tags, Today, adding tasks, and what gets written to your files.
- Focus and calm: focus, finishing gently, snoozing, Quiet Mode, fewer animations, and suggestions that wait for you.
- Projects and health: the projects board, a project's scope, health flags, and Project Info.
- Posts: Hugo drafts and posts, new posts, publishing, and preview.
- Clipboard: cleaning up copies, Markdown styles, tasks, and saved references.
- Space Command for Obsidian: the optional Obsidian plugin: tags as you type, tag commands, blocks, and switching between the apps.
Reference
- Key commands: every key, by where it works.
- Tips and special interactions: clicks, double-clicks, and right-click menus worth knowing.
